Each vacation package includes a three-night stay for two adults and up to two children, as well as $2,000 toward airfare or car rentals, kid-friendly activities, spending money for souvenirs and other extras. All four packages are distinctly different and unique, offering visitors a chance to experience an unseen side of Richmond. The packages are themed around four of Richmond's signature products: the Richmond Olympic Oval, the Historic Fishing Village of Steveston, Asian cuisine and culture, and West Coast arts and heritage.
Olympic Connection Package
The iconic Richmond Olympic Oval has now been transformed into a multi-purpose international centre of excellence for sports, health, and wellness. This package includes a guided VIP tour with insight into the Richmond Olympic Oval's public art and ground-breaking sustainable architecture as well as three nights of accommodation at the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel, fitness passes and $200 in Richmond Olympic Oval souvenirs, $400 in restaurant gift certificates and family passes for both Watermania and the UBC Boathouse's paddling program.
Tall Ships Package
In June 2011, the Historic Fishing Village of Steveston in southwest Richmond will welcome a spectacular international fleet of tall ships as part of Tall Ships Richmond 2011.
